Wabtec Corporation has acquired Bloom Engineering for $69 million to boost its Hydrogen technology capabilities supporting its goal of reducing emissions and advancing sustainable transport solutions by integrating Hydrogen combustion systems into industrial heating and energy systems. Additionally, Wabtec is collaborating with General Motors on Hydrogen fuel cells for next generation locomotives.
