Developers of the Gagasi Offshore Wind Farm recently started the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the planned Offshore Wind project along the coast of Richards Bay in KwaZulu-Natal. Gagasi is being developed by GenesisHexicon which is a joint venture between Genesis Eco-Energy and Hexicon. The project could consist of 54 wind turbines with peak output of 810 MW.
