Senvion India and RE Technologies have together developed a new 4.2M160 Wind turbine generator. It has a 160 m rotor and a 140 m hub height with 78.5 m blade designed for low wind conditions. The turbine is highly versatile and has self-optimizing features. Through a licensing agreement between both the companies optimized power generation at low operational costs can be achieved.
