Scatec has achieved financial close for the 103MW/412MWh Mogobe Battery Energy Storage System in South Africa, the continent's largest standalone BESS project. With a total investment of R3 billion, Scatec will hold 51% equity. The facility, aimed at enhancing grid stability, is backed by a 15 Year PPA.
