NLC India Ltd's Renewables arm, NIRL, has formed a Joint Venture with Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) to develop 1000 MW Solar Power Projects in Assam. NIRL will hold a 51% stake, and APDCL 49%. The venture aims to meet Assam’s energy demands, promote sustainable development, and enhance energy security.
