KSEBL has petitioned the Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission to approve the procurement of 500 MW of Solar Power, including 250 MW for peak hours, under SECI’s ISTS Tranche XV scheme. The cost is ₹3.42 per unit with a ₹0.07 trade margin. This move aligns with Renewable Energy targets, ensuring cost stability, Energy Security, and compliance with RPOs.
