The Ministry of Heavy Industries is set to release a 10 GW RFP, it will be issued in collaboration with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. In summit 300 leaders participated discuss issues like R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and recycling of lithium-ion batteries. ACC-PLI scheme is expected to significantly boost battery manufacturing capacity with over 40GW/hr out of a targeted 50 GW.
