The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has exempted export-oriented Green Hydrogen Projects from using Domestic Solar Modules, allowing them to use cheaper imported ones. This aims to lower production costs to match grey hydrogen, boosting competitiveness. MNRE's measures include Rs 400 crore for R&D and waiving transmission charges for 25 years.
