GM and LG Energy Solutions to include prismatic cell development in their collaboration and hence are extending their 14 year partnership. The tech will power future GM EVs, as part of company’s strategy to diversify its supply chain. Prismatic cells feature a flat, rectangular shape with a rigid enclosure and space efficient packaging.
