Coal production up to August 2024 reached 384.08 million tonnes, a 6.48% increase from the previous year. Coal India Limited's output grew 3.17% to 290.39 MT, while captive and other entities saw a 30.56% rise to 68.99 MT. Coal dispatch also surged by 5.14% to 412.07 MT, indicating improved sector logistics and supply.
