CEA has approved two Pumped Storage Projects (PSPs) in Maharashtra: the 1,500 MW Bhavali PSP by JSW Energy and the 1,000 MW Bhivpuri PSP by Tata Power, together adding over 15 GWh of storage. These projects, supported by various agencies, aim for completion by 2028, enhancing grid stability and renewable integration.
