The US Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has granted final approval for the SouthCoast Wind project, now the country’s 11th commercial Offshore Wind Project. Located off Massachusetts and Rhode Island, it will generate 2.4GW, powering over 840,000 homes. The project, developed by Ocean Winds, includes up to 141 turbines.
