Asahi Kasei has received govt. support to expand its mfg. capacity for Green H2 production equipment in Japan. The expansion aims to establish a stable domestic supply chain for technologies that contribute to Japan's carbon neutrality goal by 2050. The project includes building new plants for cell frames and membranes with an estimated investment of ¥35 billion & subsidy of up to ¥11.
